Every photo on this site was shot by Erick Bzovi — on trails, park roads, and the occasional airport layover. Nothing here is stock. Each image is watermarked and carries its own Field Notes page with the place and the story behind it.
Who to Credit
Use this line, verbatim, next to or beneath the image:

If the medium allows a link, point it at the photo's page on this site or at fintechadventures.com. A credit buried in a footer or a page-wide "image sources" list doesn't count.
What You Can Use Without Asking
- A single image in an article, blog post, or newsletter that links back and credits as above.
- A screenshot of a page on this site used to write about the site itself.
- Personal, non-commercial use — a desktop background, a slide in a class.
Keep the watermark intact and don't crop it out. The image stays hosted on your side or linked from here; please don't hotlink.
What Needs a Conversation First
- Advertising, packaging, or any paid campaign.
- Print runs, merchandise, or anything sold.
- Training or fine-tuning a machine learning model on these images.
- Redistribution — stock libraries, wallpaper apps, image aggregators.
- Edits that change what the photo shows: recoloring, compositing, removing or adding elements.
Rights
Erick Bzovi holds the copyright on every photo published here. Permission for the uses above is a limited license, not a transfer — the copyright doesn't move, and the license ends if the credit comes off. Photos are provided as-is, with no model or property releases.
Licensing a Photo
Want a shot for commercial work, or a higher-resolution file without the watermark? Email erick@fintechadventures.com or use the contact form. Include the photo's page URL, where it will run, and for how long. Most requests get an answer within a couple of days.
Something Already Published?
If a photo is already running somewhere without credit, email the link. Adding the credit line usually settles it.
