The Clearing House Picks Quant to Run US Tokenized Deposit Interop Network
The Clearing House has selected UK-based Quant to build and power its On-Chain Money Initiative, a new interoperable payments network enabling US financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposit transactions. This is a market-structure event: TCH is the operator of RTP and sits at the center of US bank-to-bank clearing, making its tokenized deposit infrastructure choice a forcing function for how domestic institutions build on-chain settlement capabilities.
